What About The Movie Theater?
Come'on Mr. Mayor/Council - do something here! I mean, the damn thing's already been built. It's great to look further down the road but there are things that can be accomplished now.

Mega-mall plan looks for OK from Bayonne Council - Bayonne is considering contracting with an upstate New York firm to build a "power" shopping center in the city's Constable Hook section.

In this land of the bays.
We all have seen better days.
Maybe then it was not so clean.
But a happy time is not pristine.
For almost fifty years the city dumps smolder.
But we were young and very much bolder.
We played and scavenged there in that time and place.
Came home scrawny,smelly and happy with a dirty face.
Children now bulge and sport many a crease.
Make love to their X box and grow obese.
For sport we had rock fights over a canyon of tracks.
Flung railroad stones to see who dodges or who it smacks.
More often then not we came home with a lumpy head.
Or even running down the neck a trickle of bloody red.
A warm day we ran to the bay like lemmings naked off a deck.
Jump in be careful get a rusty spike scratch, what the heck.
Go down thirty feet and come up with a fist of bottom mud.
We even welcomed the fishy smell and muck of oily crud.
And tankers bilge oil rainbow streaked water dark as wine.
For warmth after swimming we burned the pollution sign.
When brown lumps floated by we laughed without a word.
Just the city sewer's regurgitation of accumulated turd.
Flotsam and debris of many generations decorated the coast.
On the pitch of rotting decks we played pirate the most.
As Sammy Eel plowed fat Wanda in his barge's tiny shack.
And Vidavek's Rod & Gun Club got drunk and lay in their rack.
We took their row boats and ranged up and down that coast.
Got rowing calluses, strong muscles and tanned as toast.
Tom Sawyers and Huck Finns with fish over a fire to roast.
We sat many nights around a fire in the bay's rocks.
Talked of all the shapely girls who had many locks.
Drank beer and appraised charms hidden under their frocks.
Withstood gangs like Lefty Jereko's who slapped us around.
My movie hero fascination made me alone stand my ground.
More guts than brains I met seven older bullies alone.
Four friends ran as craven fear caused them to postpone.
I took many blows and kicks but resolved stood my ground.
Fury's berserker smashed with brick and fist all around.
Quickly it subsided and I still stood my ground alone.
Four of seven attackers lay there bleeding and prone.
Remaining heros backed far from me deciding to postpone.
So with friends drank beer and talked, they now left us alone.
My acne and cyst ridden face cut easily a bloody drain.
Over fifty years later a proud history map of scars remain.
My stalwart so called friends for many years I never see.
Moved away long ago or gone to the undiscovered country.
Now a coast road, a mall, cruise ship piers, a city's gain.
Movie studios, condos where backward hat boys snort cocaine.
Minorities stab and shoot each other cause they was dissed.
Respect you once earned, a brave concept now dismissed.
We are trying to find good hindi movie to take the kids this weekend. Good hindi movie reviews are hard to find
