Fable Of Cable by Tom Phan
Much is mire in the cable program.
What they show for the price is really a scam.
Old TV sit com re runs mostly all have seen.
Out of place movies that in theaters have never been.
The cable company in this nation.
Thinks viewers brains are on vacation.
"To entertain and educate",said Edward R.Murrow.
Instead an inferior redundancy of nonsense they show.
Take Monster Garage and American Chopper.
Reality for idiots, a real show stopper.
Make a car a hover craft that can't get off the ground.
Marines crush it with a tank to cheering all around.
I fail to see the purpose of this strange application?
Imbeciles in congregation having a weird celebration?
Junk Yard Wars another cable farce.
Educational value is difficult to parse.
Monster garage can't teach people to fix their car.
Since the cast all speak with a sort of mental mar.
They should at least evaluate gas saving devices.
And give some value for their exorbitant prices.
History Channel is probably the closest thing to education.
Teaches history in detail minus boredom with elucidation.
Even presents UFO history to the entire nation.
Along with government's misinformation.
Of weird conspiracy theories they make the public aware.
But of air cars and esoteric devices they don't dare.
Electro gravitics and permanent magnetic motors would.
Go well on Discovery's Urban Legends and do good.
Dare to go beyond mainstream technology they could.
Prove or disprove Howard Johnson or Keely or T.Townsend Brown.
Then perhaps Urban Legends would get some renown.
I suppose its much safer, the red neck watermelon launch.
Home made catapults filling a field with piles of raunch.
And the long distance winner struts displaying his paunch.
MTV and VH1 are pure tripe that just take up space.
They're for drug addicts who's own brains they deface.
Wish they would all simply vanish without a trace.
And put some educational documentaries in their place.
Forty channels with no video only music played are there.
What the hell are radios for if you present that fare?
Bose Wave Radio is a cable sponsor I wonder if they care?
Movies on demand is just another type of scam.
A camouflaged pay per view and nothing but a sham.
Old movies for which they charge much too high a price.
Video store has more selection and cheaper by thrice.
The first few years of cable it was commercial free.
First paid by sponsors now viewers pay the fee.
So now even watching commercials on cable is not free.
Volume is low but goes up loud when commercials arrive.
Wake up the dead and gouge them is that what they strive?
